Got gas and saw this truck filling up on diesel. It apparently belongs to a dealership called Cauley, which is near Detroit. Still, I was surprised to see this truck out in the sticks, aka country.
Didn’t have enough time to ask the driver questions; had to make it home for dinner. Sorry guys, my wife’s dinner takes priorty in my eyes.

Yeah they’re over on Orchard Lake, off of 696. Driven by there many times. I wonder what was in the box?

Well they go to the Northwood auto show every year in Midland, but that’s in the fall so who knows.

They could be doing a pickup/delivery for service. Alternatively, they could be doing a concierge test drive. A lot of dealers will deliver a few cars to a big client for them to look at in the comfort of their own home.

I figured it was probably a special client.

This is the dealership that Lingenfelter (Ken?) gets and services all of his Ferrari’s through, could very well be something for him.

surprised that they don’t use an Italian truck, i.e Iveco instead of Isuzu.
are Iveco trucks even sold in the USA?
*googles*
it appears not. oh well, good choice then by the dealer.

Yeah, I’m about 30 minutes further west of lingenfelter. :/. And about an hour west of the dealership.

Well, I’m guessing the dealer bought the truck, so they probably got the cheapest, heh.

not necessarily
Isuzu (well here in Oz are the best selling trucks for the last 30+ years and definitely aren’t the cheapest) probably in a similar boat over there, but i could be wrong.
